Welcome to Tonge Cricket and Sports club here in Bolton, Lancashire.
The club hosts a vast range of league cricket teams of age groups ranging from under 9’s through to the 1st team.
We welcome all new players, members and visitors regardless of age or gender, for further information get in touch via the multiple contact methods you can find here on our website or come along and visit us.
Our recently refurbished clubhouse has various TV screens showing all the latest sporting events along with pool table and darts in the members and public lounge and a fabulous refurbished function room.
Some questions we are often asked
Is the club looking for new players?
The club is always on the look out for new players at all age levels and gender, please get in touch by one of the various contact methods available on the website and also with our Head of Cricket by email cricket@tongecc.co.uk if you would like to find out more about joining one of our teams.
How does the members system work?
Everyone is entitled to become a club member whether it's your first visit to the club or you have previously enjoyed our hospitality.
Members are issued with their own personal membership card which when presented at the bar achieves concessionary bar prices available to members only.
Does the club offer a function room for private events?
We have a large function room available for hire for such events as birthdays, christenings, weddings, funerals, corporate hire, charity events and others subject to approval.
Unfortunately we have now imposed a minimum age for birthday events of 21 years of age.
Does the club allow dogs on the premises?
Dog owners are most welcome to bring their dogs to the cricket club as long as they are on a leash at all times and supervised by an appropriate handler.
We appreciate dogs must 'go to the toilet' too so it is paramount that any dog mess is cleaned up immediately.
We do allow you to bring your dogs into the club house subject to numbers and they must remain on a leash, on the floor at all times and not on the furniture.
